Carrefour, Jusco and Robinson are a couple of minutes away by Taxi. These supermarkets and outlets offer a wide range of consumer products that fits everybodys needs. A good afternoons shopping can be spent here with a wide offer on restaurants and coffeeshops near the shops. About 5 to 10 minutes by Taxi or take the free hotel shuttle bus.

Main Road Ratchada is home to a new commercial district in Bangkok, with many restaurants, supermarkets and nightlife spots for you to explore. Hidden markets and small shops can be found in every corner and soi of this long road.

 

	When you walk out the Maxx Hotel go to the left and then take another left at Rama 9 Soi 8 (At the Bangkok Bank see next picture). You arrive at RCA. Go under the highway and you can visit many restaurants, bowling, Race-Karting, watch a movie and shopping at Tops supermarket till 24h midnight. After 10 PM, RCA turns into a major nightlife strip with numerous discos and bars catering to young Thai people. Route 66 is the most famous disco here. Our shuttle bus brings you to tops supermarket every morning and evening.
	Just near the Maxx hotel lies the New elevated highway or Expressway, which brings you to the Airport in just 20 minutes. Other major attractions in Bangkok can be reached very quickly by using this service. Just ask the Taxi driver to take the Express way. You have to pay about 1 to 2 USD extra depending on your destination and hand this amount to the taxi driver.
	Fortune Tower and IT Mall offers all you need : Shopping, dining and even an IT Mall with DVDs, Computerparts, cell phones, laptops, digital cameras etc. Pizzahut, Mr Donut and Mac Donalds, Tesco Lotus, a big 2 storey Supermarket and a bunch of Thai and Japanese restaurants. Take the free shuttle bus from the hotel or a taxi to get here, walking will take you 20 minutes. The Undergound Station Rama 9 is also near the entrance.
	Huaykwang Market can be explored during daytime and nighttime. During daytime from 7 AM till 7PM you can visit the fresh market that offers all kinds of fruit, meats, fish and local herbs and curries. In the evening after 10 PM untill 4 AM nighttime you can shop at the many street stalls that offer clothing, CDS, shoes, foods and souvenirs.
